AKM Jahangir Hossain (1954 – 24 December 2020)

Bangladesh Awami League politician and a 4-term Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Patuakhali-3 constituency.[2]

Career

Hossain was elected to the parliament from

2006–08 Bangladeshi political crisis. The nomination went to Golam Maula Rony.[4] In 2013, he was removed from all committees of Bangladesh Awami League.[5]

Hossain died from COVID-19 complications during the COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh on 24 December 2020, at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital in Dhaka.[1]
