Aftab (

Romanized as Āftāb, is a village in Aftab Rural District of Aftab District of Tehran County, Tehran province, Iran, serving as capital of both the district and the rural district.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 116 in 28 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 112 people in 27 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 114 people in 31 households.[2]
