Alec Utgoff (Ukrainian: Олег Володимирович Утгоф; born 1 March 1986, Kyiv, USSR)[3] is a Kyiv-born English actor. He pursued acting and graduated from the prestigious Drama Centre London. He is known for playing the role of Aleksandr Borovsky in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and Dr. Alexei in the third season of Stranger Things. His other notable roles include Alexi in San Andreas (2015),[1][4] Dmitri in Mortdecai (2015)[5] and Yuri/Dimitri in The Wrong Mans (2015).[6]

He is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and English.He openly expresses his sympathy towards Russia, adorning his social media profiles with quotes from Russian literature. Additionally, he frequently visits the territory of the Russian Federation. [1]
On his Instagram page, he posted a photo [2] with, known as Pasha Mercedes [3] for his passion for luxury, and referred to him as his godfather. Pavlo Lebid is a Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, associated with the dissemination of Russian propaganda. In July 2023, the Solomiansky District Court in Kyiv arrested Metropolitan Pavlo on suspicion of subversive activities against Ukraine.
