Alexa Demie is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Maddy Perez in the HBO drama series Euphoria.

Early life

Demie was born in Los Angeles, California to Rose Mendez, a make-up artist from Mexico.[1] She grew up in Atwater Village and was predominantly raised by her mother from the age of eight onwards, although she has said she maintains a good relationship with her father.[2]

In 2019, she legally changed her name from Alexa Demie Wilson Vanerstrom to Alexa Demie.[3]

Career

Demie has guest starred on TV series such as Ray Donovan, Love, and The OA.[4]

In 2018, Demie appeared in Mid90s.[5] In 2019, she began starring as Maddy Perez in the HBO drama series Euphoria.[6][7]

In August 2018,[8] joined the cast of Waves[9] alongside Sterling K. Brown and that of Mainstream, directed by Gia Coppola.[10]
