Naam Japna). Here, Amrit Vela is defined as "three hours before the dawn".[4] Sikhs recite their morning Nitnem during Amrit vela. Traditionally after Nitnem Sikhs meet with the Sangat (congregation) to recite Asa ki Var.[5]
