Disappearance and capture
Within a week, after being informed by federal agents, local police officers in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, located Juliano on the morning of March 22 and trailed him from an intersection at South Hill before pulling him over and arresting him outside town.[3] Surrendering without incident, Juliano was held in lieu of $1 million bail pending extradition to New York where he was eventually convicted on multiple counts along with his original outstanding sentence.[citation needed]
