Early life

Shukla was born on 15 May 1907 (The same day as that of another revolutionary-

Civil Disobedience Movement in 1930 and was imprisoned in Patna Camp Jail.[1] He was released along with other Satyagrahis after the Gandhi–Irwin Pact. Later he came in contact with the members of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association and became a revolutionary.[1]

Death

Phonindra Nath Ghosh, hitherto a key member of the

Gaya Central Jail on 14 May 1934. He was 27 years old.[citation needed
]
