William Joseph Striegel (May 28, 1936 – July 23, 1992) was an

offensive guard in the National Football League (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles. He also was a member of the Oakland Raiders and Boston Patriots in the American Football League (AFL). He played college football at the University of the Pacific

Early years

Striegel attended Chico Senior High School. He accepted a football scholarship from the University of the Pacific.[1] He became a starter as a two-way tackle.[2]

Professional career

Striegel was selected by the

He appeared in 12 games as a backup.
