Buin-Zahra (

Romanized as Booin-Zahra, Bū’īn Zahrā; also known as Booin (بوئين), also Romanized as Bū’īn and Būyīn,[3] is a city in the Central District of Buin Zahra County, Qazvin province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4] The people of Buin Zahra speak Azerbaijani Turkish.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 15,848 in 4,250 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 18,210 people in 5,248 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 20,823 people in 6,298 households.[2]
