Chaman Lal Gupta

Chaman Lal Gupta (13 April 1934[1] – 18 May 2021) was an Indian politician from Jammu and Kashmir, belonging to Bharatiya Janata Party. He was union minister of state of defence from 2002 to 2004. Earlier, he held a portfolio of food processing and civil aviation.

He had not been keeping well in his mid 80s. He died of COVID-19 on 18 May 2021, in Jammu, during the COVID-19 pandemic in India.[2][3]
