Career

In 1994, Thomas co-directed her first feature film,

Terra Estrangeira aka Foreign Land, alongside Walter Salles. Thomas is also its screenwriter and production designer.[1]
In 1998, Thomas debuted as a theatre director with her version of .

Thomas was also one of two creative directors for Rio's contribution to the 2016 Summer Olympics opening ceremony.

Thomas' film Vazante premiered at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival.[3]
