David Slater (born November 22, 1962) is an American singer and songwriter.
Career
Slater was the male vocalist champion on TV's Billboard and other charts.[1] Notable backup singers on Slater's Capitol albums include Vince Gill and members of Australian rock band, Little River Band.
In 1989, Slater was slated to be a nominee for the Academy of Country Music Award for New Male Artist of the Year, but he did not make the final five.[2]
