Derek Goodrich

Derek Hugh Goodrich (15 July 1927 – 6 September 2021) was an Anglican priest who was the

Dean of St George's Cathedral, Georgetown, Guyana, from 1984[1] to 1993.[2]

Born in July 1927,

ordained deacon in 1953 and priest in 1953 after studying at St Stephen's House, Oxford.[4]

He began his ordained ministry as a

diocese[7] in 1984. A noted historian,[8] he resigned in 1993 and retired to Lingfield, Surrey.[4]

Goodrich died in September 2021, at the age of 94.[6]
