Dicaeus (mythology)

Ancient Greek: Δίκαιος) was a son of Poseidon[1] and brother was Syleus.[2] They lived near the Mountain Pelion in Thessaly.[2]

Dicaeus hosted

Herakles, Dicaeus was a just man, which was suggested by the very literal meaning of his name (Δίκαιος = Just).[2]

The Dicaea city in Thrace was named after him.[1]
