Difficult Run is a

census designated place in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States.[1][2] The population was 10,600 at the 2020 census.[3] The CDP has a land area of 8.38 square miles.[3]

At the

Latino of any race was 5.62% of the population.[4]

Of the households, 89.3% were married couple families, 3.8% were a male family householder with no spouse, and 6.3% were a female family householder with no spouse. The average family household had 3.27 people.[4]

The median age was 45.6, 27.6% of people were under the age of 18, and 17.7% were 65 years of age or older. The largest ancestry is the 18.2% who had

naturalized citizens.[4]

The median income for a household in the CDP was $250,000. 8.1% of the population were

poverty line, none of those under age 18 and 0.5% of those age 65 or over, with 0.9% of the population without health insurance.[4]
