Soviet dissidents were people who disagreed with certain features in the embodiment of

German government actively silences Iranian dissidents.[35] In 2023 Woman Life Freedom movement won Sakharov prize[36] Journalist Nagres Mohammadi won Nobel Peace prize.[37]
UAE
The UAE has been accused of imprisoning critics. Like many other Middle Eastern countries, it does not allow criticism of the government. Many Emirati dissidents have been languishing in jail, some of them for a decade.[38]
