He has been to more than 70 biennials and graphic exhibition in the world, His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in the United States, Mexico, South Korea, China, Macedonia, Turkey, Greece, Serbia, Ukraine, Taiwan, Slovakia and Iran. He is also the secretary and organizer..[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9], judge[10][11][12][13] and participant in holding several international and national art festivals in his artistic career.

Work

At the age of 20, Mohammadi Vahidi became career in graphic design by establishing his own studio.

In Iran, he has collaborated with government organizations such as Tehran Municipality, Iranian Red Crescent Organization[14][15][16] and Islamic Azad University[17][18][19]

Vahidi became a member of the Iranian Graphic Designers Association at 2019. Iranian Graphic Designers Association is a member of ICOGRADA.[20]

In 2017, he launched a poster design competition called Posterrorism and so far held 5 exhibitions of it in Poland, Usa, South Korea, Ukraine and Indonesia.

Also, in 2020, Hossein founded of ‌the Borderless graphic designers group  in Canada, which hosts and organizes poster design competitions around the world.[21]

Awards

He has won awards in Iran as well as in the world, the most prominent of which are Bronze Award from the World Graphic Design Association (Icograda) 2014[22][23][24] and the Excellent Award from the Beijing Design Week 2020.[25][26][27]

It can be seen in his records that he has cooperated with government organizations such as the Tehran City Beautification Organization, the Iranian Red Crescent, the Tehran Municipality Cultural and Artistic Organization, and the Islamic Azad University.

  • Holding a large commemorative call for the victims of the Ukrainian flight 752, which led to the closure of the exhibition due to the opposition of the Iranian government[37][38][39][40]
  • Organized a large exhibition of world famous graphic designers such as Milton Glaser,  Armando Milani, Michal Batory, Stephan Bundi and other designers which had a good impact in the world[31][32][33][41]
  • Mohammadi Vahidi is the permanent secretary of the international posterrorism competition, which has been active since 2017, its main topic is about countering terrorism, and many designers have participated in this event. He has held this competition in Poland[42][43], Ukraine[44], United States[45], South Korea[46] and Indonesia[47][48][49]

Work style

His style of work is more minimal. He uses simple images in his posters and makes them a little different from other designers. His posters have appeared in many websites and galleries around Show the world[51]
