Mainspace eligibility

While this character technically passes

WP:MCUCHARACTERS with four appearances under his belt, I am still hesitant on whether he warrants a mainspace article as all of his appearances save for What If...? have been five- or ten-second long cameos. (In fact, he's barely visible in Endgame unless you look really close.) Thoughts? InfiniteNexus (talk) 23:44, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply

This should be promptly moved to draft. There's barely any Reception info, and all the In other media section should be removed, as it's not about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Howard the Duck is grouped with the most minor characters in the MCU, an individual article isn't warranted. —El Millo (talk) 00:17, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I agree that in terms of importance to the MCU as a whole, he's barely a blip and that
WP:MCUCHARACTERS should probably be modified from in at least four MCU projects (films and TV series) to something like in at least four MCU projects (films and TV series) in a (chose term: [non-minor role]/[significant role]/[main role]/[non-recurring role]). I'd also wish for Dealmaces to slow down and stop creating work for all us cleaning after them. Gonnym (talk) 10:49, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply

Dealmaces has been identified as a sockpuppuet and blocked indefinitely. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/TotalTruthTeller24. —El Millo (talk) 12:55, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, thank goodness. Do we think this article (along with J. Jonah Jameson (film character) and Venom (Sony's Spider-Man Universe)) can stay? InfiniteNexus (talk) 13:49, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure. Seems as Venom has enough to stay, but JJJ doesn't. —El Millo (talk) 13:56, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, forgot about Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen (Marvel Cinematic Universe). InfiniteNexus (talk) 14:02, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Don't know about that one. Concept and creation, Characterization, and Reception seem to be reasonably well developed. But I have no knowledge of the show or anything related to it, so not sure if its existence is warranted. —El Millo (talk) 14:13, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also
TheDailyBugle.net (web series), and I believe they cut-and-paste moved Daisy Johnson (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and Frank Castle (Marvel Cinematic Universe) as well. InfiniteNexus (talk) 14:40, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply

If we want to be safe we can move everything to draft and sort it like any other article that needs to pass AfC criteria. Gonnym (talk) 15:53, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say draftify anything created/started by the user, and then deal with them in the draft space to make sure they are actually notable to have in the mainspace. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:43, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like a good idea. —El Millo (talk) 17:57, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sending my two cents here,
