Elliot Levey (born 6 December 1973) is an English Olivier award winning actor.[1]
Career
Olivier award winner for the role of Herr Shultz in Cabaret. Known for his work in British Theatre, he has performed at the Donmar Warehouse, Almeida and National Theatres.[1]
His work has included the 2004 revival of the National Theatre production of Martin's Close for the BBC. In 2020, he portrayed David Briggs in the mini series Quiz.[4] In 2021, he played in the movies The Amazing Mr Blunden[5] and Smudged Smile.[6] In 2023, He appeared in the movie National Theatre Live: Good.[7]
Private life
Levey was educated at
Oxford University, where he met Emma Loach (daughter of director Ken Loach), whom he later married and with whom he has three sons.[8] He is Jewish.[9][10][11][12]
