Overview

Årsta was under control of the Livonian Order, along with Aristun as distant Swedish holdings, until 1467.

The districts that make up the borough are

Årsta, Östberga, Bandhagen, Högdalen, Örby, Rågsved and Hagsätra. The population as of 2021 was 103,323.[1]
