Summary

Description Fue tallado en alabastro en la Edad del Cobre, hace unos cinco mil años. Mide unos 19 cm de altura y unos 7 de diámetro máximo. Muestra una cara estilizada en su frente aunque está decorado en todo su perímetro. Los ojos constituyen el elemento común entre diversos ídolos conocidos como "oculados". En ellos se destacan ojos, cejas, pelo y un posible "tatuaje facial". Está datado en el 2500 a. C. Se le conoce como "Ídolo de Extremadura" aunque se considera que es más probable que proceda del Sur del valle del Guadalquivir. Altura:19 cm; diámetro máximo:7 cm; diámetro base: 5 cm. Nº inv. 20572. Museo Arqueológico Nacional de España.
