Summary

Description Part of the frieze on the Lexington Avenue side of the building located at 160 Lexington Avenue on the corner of East 30th Street in the Rose Hill neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It was originally the New York School of Applied Design for Women, built in 1908-09 and designed by Harvey Wiley Corbett in neo-Roman style. It became the Pratt-New York Phoenix School of Design, and is currently (2011) the Lexington Avenue Campus of Tuoro College -- although the building has "Building for Sale of Long-Term Lease" signs on it.
