Summary

Description

A cropped version of a postcard sent to Ted Claxton. Showing a print titled "To the Rescue", with firemen on a horse-drawn fire-wagon apparently galloping to (or from?) a fire rescue situation. There is a major fire behind them, and the houses either side have lit-up windows. The street is rather strangely lined with a dark and apparently stationary crowd.

Note: The first upload is an unedited scan of the original postcard. The second upload has been edited to show more detail.
