English: 1979 AMC Concord four-door station wagon special-purpose United States government fleet ordered for the Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs. AMC straight-six with automatic transmission and featuring an AM radio and air conditioning. Carpeting was deleted and replaced by a rubber floor cover. Note the base bench front seat (with an Indigenous headdress on display), while the fold-down sear seat is deleted and replaced with an extension to the flat rear cargo area floor, the rear doors have rear armrest, window cranks, and interior door handles also deleted. Designed to serve for cadaver hauling duties. There is an actual body bar in the load area accessible by the rear hatch. Photographed at the Rambler Ranch (36370 Forest Trail, Elizabeth, CO 80107) that was part of the 2021 American Motors Owners (AMO) convention held in Colorado Springs, Colorado. |
