English: Oceanographers Eric Hochberg of the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences and Michelle Gierach of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory discuss the Coral Reef Airborne Laboratory (CORAL) mission while at JPL in Pasadena, California. Eric is the airborne mission’s principal investigator; Michelle is the project scientist. “Corals outlived the dinosaurs,” Eric says. The NASA mission will measure the health of many of the world’s coral reefs. science.nasa.gov/missions/coral
