Description
English: The Il-19 binds to IL20 R on the surface of immune cells, then the JAK/STAT pathway activated. The STAT3 protein get phosphorylated and activated, then pass through the nuclear envelop of the immune cell to interact with the DNA. The interaction regulates the expression of cytokines. For example, in T cells, the IL-19 induces the expression of IL-10, IL-4 and down regulate the expression of IFN-gamma.
