English: This is photograph of a Tammar Wallaby (
Houtman Abrolhos
. Although native to the mainland and nearby islands, the Tammar Wallaby has only recently been introduced to North Island, and in the absence of any predators, has increased in population to the point where the islands's vegetation is being heavily overgrazed.
