Summary

Description
English: These tokens, featuring a number on one side, and an erotic scene on the other, are known as Spintriae. The Hunterian Museum has one of the largest known collections of these things, but for most of the museum\'s 200-year history they were considered too scandalous to exhibit! These are part of an exhibit created for the International Numismatic Congress held in Glasgow in 2009.
