The manuscript reads as follows: ... de la población en el camino vecinal que conduce al monte cerca de la loma llamada Cambang-bató. 4˚ Fue la iglesia no tenia otros bienes conocidos que los arriba mencionados. 5˚ Fue sobre todo lo dicho pueden informar, si quiren decir verdad los vecinos distinguidos de dicho pueblo: Don Eugenio Badilla, Doña Carmen Baban, Don Marcelo (La)Madrid, Don F. - ↑ The presence of the document indicates that Fray Lope was still alive in 1911, and was still in good health 18 years after his mandate in Banate (Parish Priest in 1893), as manifested by his hand-writing and signature. However, as regards his memory of the names of "vecinos distinguidos" of the town, the Report shows that he was beginning to forget certain details of information: He wrote the surname of Don Marcelo Madrid as "Lamadrid". He also forgot the first name of Don Florencio Villaluz, simply writing "D. F. Villaluz". Both persons were, together with Don Eugenio Badilla (also mentioned by the Friar), among the town's officials, when order was restored after the Filipino-American War in 1901.
