The scene from the "Blowing Smoke" episode of AMC's Mad Men in which Don Draper informs the massive staff of the loss of the Lucky Strike account. This setback could end in the loss of everyone's job and the rather dour expressions on the face of the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce staff more than exudes that despair and anger, emotions not easily replicated with words in a plot summary. The viewer must also note the absence of the Peggy Olson character, whose absence in this scene is a plot point in her character arc. |
