English: SVG recreation of a 1934 specification California State Route shield as produced by the Automobile Club of Southern California for the California Highway Department. The ACSC created all the highway signs in Southern California before World War II. Numbers and details traced from photographs or use 1926 FHWA Fonts made by Jake Bear.
