Nederlands: Sam Holland & Lynn O'Dowd, Geoffrey Chaucer (2016). Standbeeld van Geoffrey Chaucer gekleed als Pelgrim naar Kantelberg op de hoek van Best Lane en High Street. Hij kijkt naar Eastbridge Hospital, waar veel pelgrims overnachtten, in zijn hand houdt hij een perkament waarop de eerste regels van de Canterbury Tales staan, rond zijn nek hangt een astrolabium (waarvoor hij een handleiding schreef).
English: Sam Holland & Lynn O'Dowd, Geoffrey Chaucer (2016). Statue of Geoffrey Chaucer, dressed as a Canterbury pilgrim, on the corner of Best Lane and the High Street. He faces the Eastbridge Hospital, where many pilgrims heading for the cathedral spent the night, holding the writing on vellum of the opening text of the Canterbury Tales, while around his neck he wears an astrolabe - he wrote a guide to how these should be used
