10 GREAT NORTHERN SEED COMPANY, ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS. fGR^^v WILD CUCUMBER VINE. r^'v The Quic*est annual climber for arbors, trellis fences SEED co.wf etc., known. Makes the most mosaic covering. Never suffers from the heat but contains its fresh and lively green color, and, what is of prime importance, is hardly effected by warm or cold, wet or dry weather, and is never infested by insects. Profuse in bloom. It will'sow itself every year and come up in the same place. Pkt. 4c. CENTROSEMA. Sometimes called "Look-at-me." A hardy perennial vine that will bloom in June or July from seed sown in April and bears a profusion of inverted pea shaped flowers from one and one-half to two and one- naif inches in diameter, ranging in color from a rosy violet to a red- dish purple with a broad feathered white marking through the center, while the large buds and back of the flower are pure white, appearing as if one plant bore many colored flowers. Pkt. 4c. CALENDULA. The name of this flower is derived from the fact that it will bloom every calendar month of the year. If seed is sown early in the open ground plants will be in bloom by June, and will blossom contin- uously until severe frosts It is also a very fine pot plant, and for winter, es- pecially for cold rooms;its large dou- ble bloom is always welcome. Finest mixed colors. Pkt. 3c. Chrysanthemum or French Marguerites. Annual varieties much grown for cut flowers. The plants grow from twelve to eighteen inches high and produce on long stems beautiful large flowers of many bright colors. Pkt. 3C. CALENDULA.
