Description
English: Aequipecten/Chlamys opercularis Linnaeus, 1758. North Sea. width 5.5-7.5 cm. From local fishermen, Amsterdam, Holland, March 1993.

One with Crepidula fornicata Linnaeus, 1758. Note that both the Crepidula and the barnacles adopt the fluted pattern of the 'Chlamys.

Also Vermetus sp. attached.
