Summary

Clarendon House in London, engraving c.1680 by William Skillman (fl.1660-1685) from painting by Johann Spilberg II (1619-1690). Published 1724 by Joseph Smith in volume 4 of Le Théâtre Nouveau de la Grande Bretagne.

Title in lower margin: PROSPECTUS CELEBERRIMAE DOMUS ILLUSTRISSIMI DUCIS AB ALBERMARLE ("Prospect of the Famous House of the Illustrious Duke of Albemarle"). Inscribed above on banner held by putti: "Illustrissimo Domino DN CHRISTOPHORO DUCI AB ALBEMARLE Comiti à Torrington, Baroni Monk à Potheridge Beauchampe et Eyes, Equiti Aur.
