Description
English: The coat of arms of Upper Volta from 1967 to 1984 featured an African shield in black, white, and red. The shield was supported by two white horses. Behind the shield are a stalk of sorghum and a spear crossed like an X. Below the shield are two axes and a scroll with the motto "UNITE TRAVAIL JUSTICE", translates to "Unity, Work, Justice".
