| Description |
English: Condensing type forced air natural gas furnace. Metal ducts are for return air (left) and heated air (right). Combustion air is brought in through the white PVC pipe, and the cooled waste gases are forced out through another PVC pipe. At the right bottom is the condensate pump that pumps the condensed water out of the combustion product gases through clear plastic tubing; this pump also handles condensate from the air conditioning coil. This unit is rated at 80,000 BTU/hr (23.4kW) input, and has a 1200 CFM (34 cubic metres/minute) blower, and claims 96% heating efficiency. |
