Español: Bahía de Pisagua después de la toma de este puerto por las tropas chilenas, el 2 de noviembre de 1879, con algunos de los buques de la Escuadra y transportes que habían conducido al Ejército, fondeados. Al extremo izquierdo se distingue la goleta cañonera Covadonga; a continuación, el crucero Angamos junto a dos transportes por su banda de estribor; uno de ellos es el Amazonas, armado en guerra, y distinguible por sus dos palos. Hacia la derecha, en segundo plano, se puede distinguir el blindado Almirante Cochrane, reconocible por haber sido despojado de su arboladura, salvo sus palos machos. English: Bay of Pisagua after the capture of this port by the Chilean troops, on November 2, 1879, with some of the ships of the squadron and transports that had led the army, at anchor. On the extreme left, the gunboat Covadonga is distinguished; then, the Angamos cruise along with two transports on its starboard side; one of them is the Amazonas, armed in war, and distinguishable by its two suits. To the right, in the background, one can distinguish the armored Admiral Cochrane, recognizable as having been stripped of his rigging, except for his male sticks.
