Description

Cruzeiro com um embasamento constituído por cinco degraus de forma quadrangular inscrita num círculo, sobre o qual assenta um pedestal paralelepipédico, composto por plinto, dado moldurado, monolítico, e cornija igualmente moldurada. O dado apresenta, dentro de cartelas em losango, as inscrições: "O S / DOS / DESAMPARA / DOS", na face sob a imagem de Cristo: "N S / DO AMPARO", na face sob a imagem da Senhora; "SENDO ABBE / MEDEIROS", na face sob o relógio de Sol. O fuste, alto, monolítico, de secção circular, colocado sobre uma base, apresenta no seu terço inferior um motivo entrelaçado composto por losangos e elipses, sendo o restante com caneluras, conservando a meia altura, em baixo-relevo, um relógio de sol. Está encimado por um capitel toscano sobre o qual assenta um plinto rematado por uma esfera com caneluras, sustentando uma cruz latina de secção em losango, com o remate das hastes em forma de botão.

A cruz apresenta na face frontal a representação escultórica do Senhor na Cruz, de pés afastados, e na face oposta uma imagem da Nossa Senhora do Amparo, com o Menino ao colo e assente sobre três querubins. <a href="https://vilapraiadeancora.blogs.sapo.pt/58966.html" rel="noreferrer nofollow">vilapraiadeancora.blogs.sapo.pt/58966.html</a>
