English: Daejoseongukdaegunjubo and Daejoseongukbo were used as ‘the seal of state’ for credentials in diplomatic relations with other countries, and Daegunjubo was used as the seal of the king for documents such as appointment documents for high-ranking government officials and ordinances proclaimed in Korea. 한국어: 1882년 5월 23일에 고종은 타국과 교린交隣할 때 보내는 국서國書에 사용할 ‘대군주보’와 ‘대조선국대군주보’를 제작하도록 무위영武衛營과 호조戶曹에 명했고, 같은 해 7월 1일 호조에서는 ‘대군주보’, ‘대조선대군주보’, ‘대조선국대군주보’의 제작이 완료되었다고 보고했다. 따라서 승정원일기에 기재된 내용을 근거로 당시에 제작된 <대군주보>, <대조선대군주보> 등은 일본으로 보내는 국서에 사용된 국새로 이해되었다. <대조선국대군주보>와 <대조선국보>는 타국과의 외교 관계에서 주고받는 국서에 ‘국새’의 기능으로 사용되었고, <대군주보>는 국내에 반포되는 법령, 고위 관원의 임명 등의 문서에 ‘어새’의 기능으로 사용되었다고 판단된다 |
