General List of Flower Seeds. 49 O/^DDfGC Poppies succeed remarkably well in the * KJii IGO» South, and hardly any clas; of plants afford the same brilliant colorings and showy display. Very easy culture, the seed being sown where they are to bloom. The varieties we offer are the best and can be depended on tounduce satisfactory results. WOOD'S STJPEEB POPPY MIXTURE. A grand mixture of all the siDgle and double varieti; s. The won- derful variety and brilliant colorings of this mixture make a very effective display in the garden or for cut flowers. Large pkt. 10c; oz. 60c. PERENNIAL. POPPIES. H. P. Pkt, Oriental. Oue of the grandest of all Poppies. The flowers are extremely laige, a rich dark glowing crimson, the foliage very rich dark green. Magnificent. If sown early will bloom the first year, 10 Iceland Poppies. A beautiful, fragraut strain, which blooms continually from June to October. Flowers re- semble crushed satin, and plants vill continue to flower for three or four rears after so*n. Mixed colors 10 SINGLE ANNUAL POPPIES. New Fayal. Exceedingly beautiful dwarf poppies, pro- ducing both double and single blooms like crinkled tissue paper, and are every imaginable poppy color, deepest red, terra-cotta, salmon, exquisite pink, white, and gray, ... 10 Tulip. This sterling variety, originally from Armenia, bear5*in abundance large, bright scarlet flowers, which are so dazzling in appearance as to remind one of a bed of * scarlet Tulips 10 Shirley. These beautiful Poppies are very free flowering and remarkably brilliant in color. They range in color from pale rose to deep crimson, and are delicately edged and fringed. Mixed colors. Per oz. 50c, 6 Danebrog. Large, bright scarlet, with a cross in centre, 5 Umbrosum. Rich vermillion, with a shining black spot on each petal 6 DOUBLE ANNUAL POPPIES. Cardinal. The plants grow about eighteen inches high, bearing large, very double gloivmg scarlet flowers, a striking contrast with the deeply cut dark green of the foliage 10 White Swan. A splendid new variety, with immense double white flo ^ers beautifully fringed. Oz. 30c 5 Mikado. (Striped Javanese Hoppy.) A beautiful sort, having the petals twisted and curved like a Japanese Chrysanthemum. Colors, scarlet and white, fringed edges ; very distinct, 5 Carnation Flowered. Dazzling richness and variety of colors. Per oz. 20c 5 Peony Flowered. Splendid, large and very double flow- ers in finest mixed colors. Per oz. 20c 5 StICINUS. (Castor Oil Plant.) Luxuriant, rapid-grow- ing annuals with palm-like leaved. Excellent for back- grounds or centres of beds if fol age plants. H. H. A. Zanzibariensis.
