Summary

Description
English: The Eagle Tavern, which was situated on the corner of City Road and Shepherdess Walk in London. It became a music hall in 1825 where Marie Lloyd made her debut performance in the 1880s. The building was later sold to the Salvation Army in 1883, before being demolished in 1901. The engraving dates from 1841 and the author is cited as being John Shury.
