Erwin Pendl (* 18. Oktober 1875 in Wien; † 4. August 1945 ebenda) war ein österreichischer Veduten- und Architekturmaler, Illustrator und Schriftsteller. Er schuf zahlreiche überdimensionale Wienbilder im Auftrag der Gemeinde Wien für die Weltausstellungen im Jahre 1898 und 1900. Er war der Sohn des Bildhauers Emanuel Pendl (1845-1927) und studierte Malerei an der Akademie der bildenden Künste in Wien. Zu seinen in Aquarelltechnik ausgeführten Hauptwerken gehört die Monumentaldarstellung der Inneren Stadt Wiens (1898).
English: Emanuel Pendl (born February 23, 1845 in Meran; died September 28, 1927 in Vienna) was an Austrian painter and sculptor with South Tyrolean roots (son of the sculptor Franz Pendl and grandson of Johann Baptist Pendl (1791-1859). He is the father of Erwin Pendl.
Erwin Pendl (born October 18, 1875, Vienna – August 4, 1945 Vienna) was an Austrian artist and architecture painter, Illustrator and writer. He created numerous oversized Vienna images on behalf of the city of Vienna for the world fairs in the years 1898 and 1900. He was the son of sculptor Emanuel Pendl (1845-1927) and studied painting at the Academy of fine arts in Vienna. The monumental appearance of the inner city of Vienna (1898) is one of his main works executed in watercolor technique.
