"The great novelty of the season is the Polonaise dress, with the fronts opening in a slanting direction as shown by the 1st figure of plate 1, and of which we now give the full-sized pattern: this Polonaise style seems likely to be in great favor, and our present pattern will be found to remove all difficulties as to the manner of cutting this elegant dress."
