Description
English: w:Western Australian Government Railways Governor class rail motor leaving Perth (Western Australia) Railway station circa 1938. Barrack Street bridge above, main rail station building right rear, roof of Sign Box 'B' above bridge, the railcar has an 'AG' coach as trailer. Bill board with Orlando sign at left is just north of Wellington Street, Perth. Also note the garden/lawn space between station building and Signal box - this area would be used on special occasions for photograph opportunities. Governor class diesel electric rail cars were introduced in 1936/1937 - see http://www.derbysulzers.com/awglobal.html order 1937 DT
