Deutsch: Blick auf den nördlichen Teilabschnitt der West Philadelphia Elevated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Der Viadukt senkt sich hier nördlich der Spring Garden Street in die Mitte des nördlichen Gleisfelds der 30th Street Station ab. Er umfasst hier 30 gemauerte Bögen mit einer Gesamtlänge von 320 Metern. Entgegen der damals üblichen Konventionen der Pennsylvania Railroad wurde für das Mauerwerk an dieser Stelle Ziegelstein statt Naturstein verwendet.
English: View of the northern part of the West Philadelphia Elevated in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania).
At its northern end the bridge touches down in the middle of the tracks leading north out of 30th Street Station. It consists of 30 brick arches having a total length of 320 meters. Contrary to the usual conventions of the then Pennsylvania Railroad was the brick used at this point instead of the usual stone masonry.
