English: A seafarer's grave in East Ham Cemetery, London E7. Phillip Hyams was a Royal Navy stoker first class in the First World War, served on the cruiser HMS Chester, and died in 1919.
Hyams' headstone is now partly delaminated, and parts of the inscription have been lost.
