English: Demonstration United States Postal Service (USPS) Intelligent Mail® barcode (IMB) using the Wikimedia Foundation mailing address.

This example is encoded with the following data for demonstration purposes:

  • barcode identification=44
  • special services=999
  • mailer identification=000000
  • barcode serial number=123456789
  • ZIP code=94107-8350
IMB is also known as OneCode and will replace the current POSTNET barcode. This example is known as a "Full-Service" IMB utilizing 65 vertical bars. This example only uses 29 digits of encoded data, the mailer identification code may be 9 digits (versus the 6 used here) which would equal 31 digits of encodable data in the 65 bars.
