Deutsch: Johann Nikolaus Weislinger: Höchst=nothwendige Schutz=Schrifft Des scharff angeklagten, doch aber gantz unschuldig befundenen Luthertums Wider Den Großachtbarn, Hochgelahrten und Weltberühmten Herrn, Herrn Daniel Maichel..., Straßburg 1740. Die polemische Schrift des katholischen Kontroverstheologen Weislinger richtet sich gegen Maichels Oratio de Catharina, quam vocant, sancta, eademque seculi post Ch. N. quarti virgine et martyre fictitia... (Tübingen 1739; Digitalisat), in der dieser Katharina von Alexandrien für eine fiktive Heilige erklärt hatte.
