Summary

Description

Ball-and-stick model of the unit cell of the crystal structure of anhydrous magnesium fluoride, MgF2 at normal pressure. The structure was determined by X-ray powder diffraction and was reported in Phys. Rev. B (2001) 64, 134110. It can be accessed as COD entry 1526229.

The full set of structures from the paper are available as CSD entries 1653711–1653728, ICSD entries 94270–94287. These cover a range of pressures from 0 GPa to above 35 GPa.

Colour code:

Magnesium, Mg: green
Fluorine, F: yellow-green
